SSC (Staff Selection Commission) is self-governing staff recruitment organization established in the year 1975 for recruiting the eligible candidates to the different posts available in govt. organizations, departments etc. and it is supervised by Govt. of India. Every year it releases recruiting notification to fill the vacant posts in different govt. offices and departments under different categories.
Staff Selection Commission has been released the recruitment notification for male and female job seekers to fill up 4669 constable posts (Executive). The candidates who are eligible can apply online from 9th September 2016 to 10th October 2016. Post Name: Male and Female Constables (Executive) 2016
I. Constables (Executive) Male: 3115 Posts.
II. Constables (Executive) Female: 1554 Posts.
SSC Application Fee: The candidates who are from SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman, and Women are exempted from paying the fee and all others have to pay Rs.100.
1. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT),
2. Computer-Based Written Examination,
3. Medical Examination (DME) and Police Verification.
SSC Eligibility Criteria: SSC Recruitment 2016
Age Details (as on 01-07-2016): The male applicants should be between 18 to 21 years and the female applicants should be between 18 to 25 years.
Educational Details: Intermediate(+2) from recognized board.
Application Process to Apply Online: The job seekers who fulfill the eligibility criteria can go to the website and apply online from 10th September to 10th October 2016.
Pre-requisites to Apply Online:
The candidates need to have a valid email-id, scanned copies of signature and passport size photograph.
Step by Step Process to Apply Online.
1. Log on to the website.
2. select the post required and click on apply button.
3. Fill the required details of name, religion, nationality, education etc., in partI registration.
4. Payment of Fee and upload scanned copies in part II registration.
5. Recheck for corrections and click on submit button.
6. Take the printed copy for future use.
Note: SC, ST, and Women candidates are no need to pay a fee.

Eligibility & Educational Qualification:
- Assistant Audit Officer: Any Degree ( With CA, MBA, Cost & Management Account)
For some specific posts, the applicant should have been completed the degree in those areas.
- Statistical Investigator –Any Degree (Having statistics as one of the subjects).
- Compiler: –Any Degree with Economics or Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subject.
- For all Other Posts: –Any Degree.
Application Fee Details:
Rs.100 (For male candidates under general category).They have to pay the fee either in online through net banking, credit cards, debit cards or directly in SBI branch by downloading the prescribed payment challan available here.
Note: Women applicants and other reserved categories (SC/ST/PHC) are exempted from paying the fee.

Application Process & How to Apply:
All the eligible candidates should apply only through online mode only.
The Online Application shall be open from 13th Feb 2016 from their official site link.
The registration process will be done in two parts.
In part I registration the candidate need to fill the basic details and then check I agree and submit. Then the registration no. is generated. Print this for future reference.
In Part II registration, the applicant has to pay the fee and upload scanned copies of photo and signature.
The applicants are advised to keep the Copy of a payment challan or online payment receipt with the candidate for future endeavors. They need to submit this on demand at any stage of further recruitment process.
SSC CGL Selection Process:
The SSC CGL will be conducted in 3 Levels/ Tiers.
Tier 1 – Written Exam.
Tier 2 – Written Exam.
Tier 3 – Computer knowledge, skill test & Certificate verification.
- The 1st phase written the exam is only as qualifying round. The marks obtained in 1st phase is not counted in the final selection.
- Negative marking is applicable for wrong answers.
- No Interviews for SSC CGL Recruitment 2016.
SSC CGL Exam Syllabus & Exam Pattern:
CGL Tier 1 Written Exam:
- General Intelligence and Reasoning – 50 marks.
- General Awareness – 50 marks.
- Quantitative Aptitude – 50 marks.
- English Comprehension – 50 marks.
Total time duration 2 hours for 200 questions.
CGL Tier 2 Written Exam: The Tier-2 CGL Exam will be conducted in two days i.e. on 13/08/2016 and 14/08/2016.
Paper I – Quant. Aptitude – 200 Questions- 2 hours.
Paper II – English Comprehension – 200 Questions – 2 hours.
For Statistical Investigator:
Paper III – Statistics – 100 Questions -200 Marks.
For Assistant Audit Officer:
Paper IV – GS (Finance & Economics) – 200 Questions.
Note: The paper I & II are common for all type of posts and paper III is only for Statistical Investigator Post and Paper IV is only for Assistant Audit Officer.
